The winner of the Week #3 contest is oldrambler, who earned a score of 12. A tiebreaker was necessary this week, as four contestants finished with 12 points: oldrambler, coldweatherfan, sumoroyal, & littleluck55. The total amount of points scored in the 5-point Super Game was 36 (30-6 Wisconsin over Michigan State). oldrambler's guess of 44 points was closer than the other 3 (coldweatherfan - 48, littleluck55 - 52, & sumoroyal - 55).

 

As always the contest is not final for 24 hrs. All contestants have 24 hours to report any errors. Once it is final, the winner should consult the contest thread to claim their prize: Contest Prizes - Sponsored by the SPORTS Shop.

* Congratulations to oldramber, our 4th winner in as many weeks. It was a 4-way tie, but oldrambler edged sumoroyal, littleluck55, & coldweatherfan, who would have been a 2-time winner.

 

* Our good friend plantmanky, he of the terrible picks, was the only contestant to correctly pick the 5-point Super Game. As expected, however, plantman correctly picked just 3 of the other 9 games, giving him a fantastic total of 10 points.

 

* It was a poor effort from MJ this week, but his score of 8 was still good enough to beat PP92's lousy 7. MJ is smoking PP92 (42-30) in the Overall Season Standings. Heck, even Can'tcoach is beating PP92.

 

* Speaking of Can'tcoach, our awful picker of games was the only contestant to correctly pick the Auburn/LSU game. Of course, like plantman, he stunk everywhere else & tied his partner in awful picking with 10 points.

 

* Although he didn't win the week, coldweatherfan was able to move into a 3-way tie in the Overall Season Standings. He is joined at the top by dmh115 & newarkcatholicfan.

 

* Tough week all around this week. Better luck to all of you in Week 5. :thumb:

A really bad week to try to guess football winners. Congrats to those of you that did well!

RP, I suppose the only way to shut you up is to win. I'm certainly due. For your info I actually picked six games correctly.
