Henry Clay at Bell Co. Predictions

Featured Replies

Yeah it does rain there but HC is defintley not a team designed for mud. Mud is probably the worst weather they can play in. And Bell may be over their head but I still was overwhelmed by HC's talent like I was last year. Im telling you Bell has a legit shot at this game.[/quoteI]

I know Henry Clay lost Rod Johnson to graduation, but they can, or at least could pound the ball pretty well last season. I don't think it is going to be muddy enough for HC to let this one slip away. I do think it will be close.

If it is not raining during the game the field will be in pretty good shape. Very little football has been played on the field, Bell doesnt use it for practice. Now if its pouring during the game the weather will make it a pretty sloppy game. I look for Bell to run a lot more in this game than they had originally planned or will run on a regular basis.

Bell is a tough place to play, and NOT BECAUSE OF FIELD CONDITIONS, so this should be fun. Henry Clay does have some great athletes.

Bell is really young, younger than most people realize. The last I hear, there were 6 or 7 sophomores starting, with a couple going both ways a lot. Playing Henry Clay this early in the season will be tough, but Bell will, Im sure, be well prepared.

Dudley is a GREAT coach and you can bet his Bell Co squad will be ready. They have to sustain long drives and keep the Henry Clay offense off of the field. The mud will be a great equalizer, but with that much quickness, the Devils still have an advantage there. I think this will be a VERY close game, and hope that Bell pulls off the upset, but have to predict.
