Homeowner shoots teen robbing her home, family comments are? Enlightening ?

. Can the mind of people actually process this event and ask ? " How he gonna get money for clothes for school " ? If thats the thought process of our youth we are screwed .

If he needed clothes for school, get a job. A homeless person stealing an apple, ok. I get that. A 'smart kid with a bright future' shouldn't be breaking into homes.

She shot once.

This is pretty old, I think... and another example why family members of the deceased should not be interviewed on TV. They say stupid things. Sometimes I'm sure it's emotion, sometimes stupidity, sometimes both...but it serves no purpose. Well other than getting viewers for the news, which is all they want.

Absolutely incredible. But should we be surprised how some of today's youth look at things? No. And if he was such a "good person", why is he burglarizing homes? And if he did it once, I'm positive he had done it before. Stealing what doesn't belong to you is wrong and just because you don't have the wherewithal to obtain things the right way is NO excuse to take it from someone who does.

Kid had gold on his neck and gold in his mouth , but needed money for school clothes ? Epic Fail.

Way too many political posts in this thread that we have had to deal with...
