I'm changing my pick. Ryle 34-nc 6

Another week another trip out of the basepaths and out into left field somewhere.

Keep the conversation on the game and drop it with the BW3 stuff. It doesn't belong in this thread about the game.

Please note, the last thread gives a score changed score prediction. I feel Ryle has played much tougher competition(Glen Este) than Newcath and Nc will not be able to run the ball.

No, your revised score post is #62 and clearly visible.

Ryle in a romp

That's why I said ROLLS....won't need a passing game to beat NCC, Murray and Gray just ROLL right over them.

Murray and Gray are very good running backs. but When NCC puts 9 in the box like Glen este did in the second half last week, it will very difficult to roll

over them:argue:

I think people are underestimating how good New Cath run defense is. If Ryle cant throw, they mite have trouble moving the ball. Ncc offense is not up to par yet and it is raining up here in Nky. Im still going with my original thought.

Ncc 14

Ryle 7

It's Tuesday night. The regular season has begun. Will coach Sneider still permit the players to hang out at the bar(BW3) late on a school night? I would think since the season is underway and with a tough game this week that NCC will just be home early this week.

I've seen them up there a lot of times. They go there for cheap wings and I've never seen an NCC kid do something wrong. They also are cleared out of there by 9:30 every Tuesday. Believe me, I've made BW3s on Tuesdays a tradition and when they are there they fill the place. The place is empty by 9:00 typically and they are always gone by 10:00. Attacking kids eating is crazy. Pizza Hut sells beer. As do gas stations.

No my child is not sheltered. Of course they can go somewhere that alcohol is served. Going and getting something to eat, going to a Reds or Bengals game, going to a church festival, is much different than sitting around a smoke-filled bar watching sports. What are they doing there that is productive? You can twist it around any way you want, but the bottom line is most teams aren't sitting around a smoke-filled bar on Tuesday nights. Are all the Highlands players at the Pub or Midway or the 915 on Tuesday nights? Are the Newport guys at the Coaches Corner? Bellevue players at the Fill? I guess the Camels are at the VFW hall or the Sandtrap, or maybe Clines on the River? Afterall, they have games on and you can get something to eat at most of those places. My point is that team comraderie is good. It's great to hang out together, but it doesn't need to be developed on Tuesday night at the bar.

Eating protein rich tasty chicken wings. I know BWs is a "sports bar" but there is also a family atmoshpere there on Tuesday nights especially.

No one said that you shouldnt go there. I eat there with my kids frequently. I said a group of high school football players sitting in a bar at 10pm on a weeknight while everyone else for the most part is drinking seems to me to be a conflict. Maybe an alcohol charged atmosphere is acceptable at some schools. I don't know. Wouldn't be happening if a lot of people I know were the coach.

You take your kids to a bar????

Ryle 21 NCC 0. I wish I could go to this game. Last year the game was GREAT!!!

I think This will be a low scoring game.I think NCC's offence will be better and will be the difference. Both defences will be very good. NCC 14 to 7
