Newport Central Catholic vs. Ryle

I guess because I don't think it's right for underage kids to hang out at an establishment where most patrons are drinking beer and watching sports I'm wrong? All guys like to hang out like that, you just wait until you're at least out of high school.

It's bw3's, i see Highlands, Campbell County and a lot of high school kids hangiing out there. Its a restaurant with a small bar portion in the corner.

The bar is not in the corner. The bar encompasses the entire right side of the building. It's an establishment with 40 taps on the wall. It's a bar. Grill and BAR. You can defend it all you want. I disagree.

The entire right side of the building? So when i walk in and turn to my right there isnt an entire corner of tables for people to eat their food? They must of added on to that bar in the last two weeks.

Im done with it i guess i was just suprised by that opinion.

:thumb: I would agree with you on this issue, but with that said I do allow my son to go every tuesday with a group of fellow football players to the Bduds in Ft Wright. It has become something of a tradition over the past several years..

Don't be surprised by any of his opinions. He's got a chip on his shoulder. Either A) He went to NewCath and things didn't go as he had hoped. B) He went to the county and never beat NewCath. C) Supports Campbell Co. and watches Red Devil players go elsewhere, like NewCath among others. Either way, he loves to bad mouth NewCath and get a rise out of people...so the BW3 thing, he doesn't truly believe in, he just loves to grate on people. He's good at it.

My prediction NewCath 14 and Ryle 24.

Sorry, I think the team should not hang out at a drinking establishment. My son wouldn't be up there if he was in high school hanging out like a college kid. And at no time did I suggest anyone of them was drinking. However, it is a bar.

Free thinker with a closed mind...interesting.

I take my 7 year old team there every week after a game. Call me a bad parent...

What's up with Vicars? Is he playing or not?

I think I would use the term terminally "salty." I think your pic for the game should be pretty close.

Yes, I heard he was going to.

No one said that you shouldnt go there. I eat there with my kids frequently. I said a group of high school football players sitting in a bar at 10pm on a weeknight while everyone else for the most part is drinking seems to me to be a conflict. Maybe an alcohol charged atmosphere is acceptable at some schools. I don't know. Wouldn't be happening if a lot of people I know were the coach.
