Shelby County 1 Bullitt East 0 (forfeit)

Featured Replies

BE put over 600 yards of total offense up on a good team.

It looked pretty balanced 319 rushing and 317 passing.

The big story of the night seems to have been senior girls soccer player Christian Foster stepping in to kick. She went 8 for 8 on PATs and drove an onside kick off an opposing player then recovered the fumble.

Per the Khssa Event twitter this morning.

Interesting. I wonder if it was the soccer player.

Yes it was a soccer player.

Why was she ineligible?

Ah wow...that's tough.

Thank's for the update on this. The possible forfeit was talked about in the recent Bullitt East game thread and members were wondering if the KHSAA had made a ruling on the ineligible player or not.

Guess it doesn't matter because BEast is already in the 5A playoffs. Will she be eligible in 2 weeks (minus a day)?

Do the stats for the Chargers count? Their top back, Hunter Perdue, leads the state in rush yards (as of Thursday).
