September 22, 20169 yr I'm a big fan of Dwight Yoakam, but I don't care of his version of this song. Usually I like covers that are a completely different style than the original but this one just doesn't work for me.

"Purple Rain" is the last track on it. Features Bluegrass-tinged re-recordings of his older songs, plus the Prince cover. His last two albums since his comeback have been amazing. I feel pretty good about buying this new record.
