Seems to me like the offense make me sick at my stomach.....kids either do not understand it or are not in the right places.....frustrating to watch..many long time Redhounds were leaving in the third quarter with some extremely long faces....

Maybe some of those long time fair weather fans need to be the kind of fan that all ways looks at the positive side. Not the kind that is hating the staff talking of firing Jewell. and be the kind fan that will support them no matter what. That is one of the thing that makes Redhound football what it is. The support of the community. Some people need to step back and remember that. There is nothing wrong with the offense. If it makes you that sick .....DONT watch it just watch the defense. It doesn't matter how predictable a offense is. If it is executed well it will work. Things get better. Corbin has one of the best staffs in the state, and one of the most classy. They have a good group of kids. If the offense makes you that sick why don't you go tell Coach Farris about it. I'm sure he would love to tell you a few things.:thumb:

I may go tell him and Pokey that tomorrow....thanks for the advice...someone needs to let them know that it stinks....lol

I'm a fan of the "70's style offense" but do think they need to air it out more with the players they have right now. I'm sure the staff understands that too but until they get the boys up front giving Clint more time, they have no choice. So some of the play calling last night, while it may not be what we want to see, was kind of unavoidable. I agree that we have one of the best staffs in the state here. They may seem stubborn but they want to win just as much as we do. You can only play with the cards you are dealt. Things will turn around very quickly down here in Redhound country. Take that to the bank.

I hate to rain on your parade but i don't think you opinion will amount to a hill of beans to them. There is nothing wrong with the offense like i posted before. Any offense is predictable if the team is scouted. It doesn't matter if a team only has one play if they execute it will work.

Let me ask you this. If this offense was working like it allways does, would you still be bad mouthing it?

Now let me answer that for you. NO you would be singin the corbin/ staff praises.

True Hound is really on the defensive this year. Let us all know what Farris tells you!!! The Beauty of America is that when he "tells you a few things" you can tell them right back!!!!! Don't be skeered!!!:thumb:

The thing is what farris tells him about football will make alot of sense, what master mind has to say won't. so therefore his argument is ....... invalid.

The o-line just needs to stay with their pass blocks a little longer, but you have to remember that 2 are sophs, 2 are juniors and the other is a senior who has not played on the offensive side until this year, so they should continue to improve. I thought that the line did a good job of run blocking and Corbin had some success running between the tackles. If they can continue to get the good blocking from the fullback position that Campbell provided the running game should be ok.

I prefer seeing Cashen stepping up into the pocket instead of seeing him rolling out and he is much more effective IMO when he does so.

I might surpise you with my football knowledge....I know a few things...at least I am brave enough to say that the offense stinks....kids do not know their roles or assignments...Farris is not a God......

It is time for change.... we have a QB with a cannon....why can we not use him....we all want the same result...just difference of opinion....I have as much P and V as Farris btw.....he does not scare me...:ylsuper:

Its not bravery its foolishness.

Hey no hard feelings maybe your just a defense guy. Won't hold you short commings of offensive knowledge against you.

No change is needed. Never siad he was a god, that would be wrong. But he is a great coach and has a great football mind.

Great Coach who has seen his better days....enough said....if Big Jewell relies on him and Little J then he might be in trouble soon......

Duncum is ready to assume the role of the offense if given the chance..times change....one has to adjust.....just an opinion...even Michael Jordan knew when to get out......lol..

Do you know for a fact that Mastermind dose'nt have a clue, or are you just going ahead and figuring that he's not worthy of questioning the obvious, TH?A lot of coaches refuse to change, even when it's needed or required due to personel. You have to play with who you have. If it ain't working, struggle through or make a change. The game starts to pass even the best by, sooner or later. A lot of people know about football and I would venture to guess that Farris dose'nt have a total monopoly on football genius. Everyone who pulls for a team is a Homer to some extent, but look over the red tinted lenses every now and then.
