I'm pretty sure they start the clock before either team can score....

I think it was 83-88. I was told once that only 3 classes have finished their careers without a ring since the playoffs started in the late 50's. I would think that has to include their freshman years though and not just years 10-12.

I was was thinking about that last year when Bo was a senior and realized his class

may be the last to have a ring for a few years and he got it when he was a sophomore.

I've said it before, but this gets brought up to Marty Moore, he may have a super bowl ring, but no state ring.

Well My Beechwood Tigers had a nice run for a bit but unfortunately they got their 1st the year after I graduated :(

Wasn't all that impressed with X in the LexCath matchup. I think Highlands can hang around in this one longer than people are giving (or not giving) them credit for.

Only way for that is if 3-4 kids over 250 lbs transfer into the district. The well is dry on lineman at Highlands. There just aren't enough of them and with the recent injuries they are decimated. Might be time to run some sets like then Bengals did yesterday where they had 6 wide, 3 lineman, a QB and RB.
