Who has Lloyd beaten?

Only Wv and Grant co and they have to prove they belong but you can say the same for most teams on this list.Lloyd ahead of those teams is just my opinion and I'm entitled to it

I'm not sure how these rankings are determined. Only way I could even imagine CAL being ranked ahead of Mayfield at this point is twofold - 1. Throwing out the knowledge that Mayfield won the title last year AND have most of that team back. 2. Maybe strength of schedule is a significant part? In three games, CAL has a distinct advantage in that regard. Even if Mayfield loses this week, I would keep them at #1.

Mayfield No. 1, Desales No. 2, CAL or Danville or Newport Catholic No. 3 through 5. Mayfield and Desales have to be given the benefit of playoff results in years past. Concerning Mayfield this year and Desales the years before, the CHAMP has to be knocked out to lose the title. My guess is that CAL's ranking is based on playing Simon Kenton. Win or lose, I suspect Mayfield will get a big push in these formulaic rankings based on playing 6-A McCracken County. For the last several years in 2-A the title has run through the West. With the addition of Mayfield I don't see than changing soon.

I don't have a dog in this fight but if you are going to the use the logic of past years playoff results NCC should be #2. I agree Mayfield should be #1 and remain #1 even if they lose 1 game to a quality bigger school. If they lose 2 then it's a different story. Based of this year, Danville would be #2. I think they have proven that spot with their quality wins so far.
