Who played QB for Highlands?

Can someone clarify that the Birds starting QB Hunter Ahlfeld in the Trinity and SK game saw limited action? No offensive snaps and a little defense?

yeah. He is the backup QB. Hollingsworth won the job, but has been out with an injury. The QB play did not lose this game.

Why do you run a fake punt from midfield when you have the lead and not much time to go in the game?

Interesting. After finding out a little more about this game how did the Hollingsworth kid play?

Yeah, that makes no sense at all. Punt it and make them drive the whole field.

Wasn't questioning the QB just questioning why one of your best athletes isn't playing on both sides of the ball in some fashion.

With all the talent of this freshman class I can't believe they have lost two already, granted one was to trinity.

Where else can he play offensively? Is he not the starting safety?

Highlands motto at the frosh level the last few years was to get all of the kids involved. You cannot continue to develop numbers if they quit after frosh year.

Yes he started and played safety last night.

He is a great athlete who if thrown the ball in open space could do some nice things with his agility and speed. He could be used at running back coming out of backfield. Once they get everything figured out and where and how to get him on the field they will be a very tough team to beat.

Think of the receivers and how you cover them Huddy, Deligrange, Deschler and Alfeld not mention the other receivers.

Bottom line is he should be on the field somewhere and he will be.
