August 29, 201610 yr Bailey is suffering from some bicep tenderness, however his elbow is fine, Mark Sheldon of MLB.com reports. Before leaving the game, Bailey struggled in the first inning Sunday, giving up four runs to an Arizona lineup that didn't have Paul Goldschmidt. He hit in the top of the second inning, but didn't return to pitch the bottom of the inning. Bailey's next start may be skipped, however the Reds will re-evaluate his injury before then. Look for more updates on the status of his arm in the near future
August 29, 201610 yr If the goal was to showcase Bailey post surgery and trade him in the offseason, better skip the next few starts and get 3 or four good starts in a row along with some good medical reports.

August 29, 201610 yr If you read Doc in the Enquirer, he's got them trying to give away Cozart over $3M/year. If that's the case, we know that Bailey is too expensive to keep.
