August 24, 201610 yr Awesome. How close does it live up to that 50 hrs of battery life? I've never challenged it that far. Those numbers are typically based on 25% output. My personal opinion is it would never make it that long at high volume. I have gone 8-10 hours of high volume on multiple occasions with no let down, and plenty of charge to spare. I would bet 20 at high volumes. It takes about 2 hours for a full charge.
September 3, 201610 yr Author Hosted my first road tailgate for Bardstown last night. Went very well. I opted for the Coleman RoadTrip LX grill and it was great. Collapsible set up and detachable tables, extremely portable and easy to set up, surprisingly large burner space. I did ribs, kebabs, and burgers for about 30 people in a little over an hour. Also bought a Block Rocker portable bluetooth speaker which is on wheels and large and durable and it was very useful. $200 but worth it. I went with foil trays and cover to keep the meat warm and it did fine, but they are maleable and get deformed so I may have to do something else next time. Used a 12x12 canopy and could have used another. We will test other theories next week at home vs. Nelson County.

September 5, 201610 yr Our normal tailgating location was still underwater Saturday, so we tailgated on one of the stadium lots. Because of this, people had to park in adjacent lots and come to us; therefore, we were short one grill. I have 2 grills (the ones pictured) and one of the other members of our group normally brings one. There are usually 3 on the table.
September 5, 201610 yr I forgot it last Saturday, but I normally bring a Coleman stove to do the veggies. Mrs. S remembered the frying pans, though. Saturday was hectic, to say the least. It rained steadily from 9 am until after 1. I had planned on spending the week getting ready for the game, but with all the tropical storm/hurricane weather, that was impossible. I ended up with Saturday morning in the rain to get ready. I'm surprised I didn't forget more things.
