August 11, 201610 yr The character thing is dumb and so annoying with sports fans. Character is a plus but I'm watching for my team to win, not have a bunch high character guys. I'm a UK fan and I couldn't care less about what UL's coach does on his Twitter. I don't like the guy but I'm sure I could figure out a way to if he coached my team and was winning.

Well first of all, there's not much of "peeing match" to be had between UK and UofL. He started the thread for one reason and one reason only. We're used to it, that's what he does.

Again, this is a story UK fans are trying to make into something. Every sports news outlet in the country is running stories on it. Every sports talk show on tv and radio did a segment on it. In the grand scheme of life it's not a huge deal, but in his position it can't happen and is an embarrassment.

August 12, 201610 yr To be fair, I've been a UK football fan my whole life. If they hired Bobby Petrino, I would no longer be a UK football fan I'm with you, even had to turn against my Hilltoppers when he was there.
August 12, 201610 yr Why exactly is this newsworthy? July and August are the worst months to make any news because the sports world is slow. In October this probably barley is even covered.
