That's no surprise, Russell is the usual Russell .....very tough and well coached. Rowan ? Well, it's been a long time since they had a competitive football team.

As for me RD50, I haven't been hearing a lot of hype on this years Rams. IMO the pre season hype - high praise by everyone last season has got everyone with an wait and see or "earn it" before "claiming it" outlook, I think this edition of the Rams has the "potential" to be a pretty decent team.

35-0Raceland. Raceland 64 plays 390 yards 12-26 pasing 3TD Bath 41 plays 60 yards 10-18 passing 1 pick.

Deep middle was open all night and Nathaniel and Cam took incredible advantage of it. All three TDs were perfectly thrown. The passes across the middle to Cherry looked good. Throws in to the flats need work. Octavious and Damon can beat anyone down the field on any given play. They just have to get some more reps at reciever. I thought Damon looked good when he ran the ball. Bailey looked solid as well and so did Judd. We seemed to mix up the line personel and all of them looked solid. A little sluggish at times but man it was hot. Still much to work on, but all in all, we looked better in this grid than we did in last years. Game was far more lopsided than the score indicated. We are much faster this year and seem to hit harder as well. Hope the few from Bath that went down bounce back.

Cam Webb is really looking poised for a big year.

I agree with the comment about our overall speed and hitting. This looks more like Raceland football and much closer to our Regional Championship teams. I was very pleased with the play of everyone. Damon Black and Bailey Walker looked really well and Judd Adkins and Chase Love looked good in back-up roll at running backs. Davidson looked good at QB. Cameron Webb has great speed and looked very nice at receiver tonight. Our defense got to the ball and hit hard and made nice tackles. I thought our offensive & defensive lines played tough. It's early and it was only the Grid but I was pleasantly surprised. It was nice to play another team instead of hitting on our own guys.

Yeah. Definitely saw some hitting going on this evening. Very hard hitting defense by the Rams tonight.
