Reds @ Cardinals (8/8 - 8/10)

Featured Replies

Billy gets on, gets to 2nd on pickoff error and then gets picked off 2nd. Votto stays hot with a hit in the first.

The Reds has to lead in NL in negative stupid plays. Just not smart players or Baseball.

Why was the outfield playing deep with a 4 run lead? If Carpenter hits a gapper Reds still lead. His line drive should have been an out to end the game.

I thought the same thing. They were basically at the warning track

Yadi hits a solo in the 2nd, Cards up 1 to 0

Plunk him again

Duvall drives in 2 with a bases loaded single. 2 to 1 Reds bottom of 3.

Leake pretty much pitched around Votto with runners on corners with 1 out. Amazing how hot he is and teams don't want to pitch to him if they don't have to.

Makes sense to me...

Votto's final #'s for July:

.413 average, .549 OBP, 4 HR, 12 RBI.

Reds get another steal off Yadi, by Schebler.

After that steal a sac fly and a ground out, gives Reds 3 to 1 lead.

They pitch to Votto for some crazy reason and drives in the lead run, 4 to 3 Reds.

Lorenzen gets 1st 2 outs then back to back hits ties it up for the Cards.
