Trinity junior transfer Rondale Moore

The decision date was over two weeks ago. Are they going to just drag this out until they have effectively denied him any playing time this year without having to officially say 'no'?

Heck, New Albany went out in the first round of the Indiana playoffs so come mid-November it will have been an entire year since Moore played for any other team. Would he be automatically eligible then?

No matter what, regardless of the last varsity participation he had in any sport at NA, he won't be eligible until the KHSAA says so-even if it's within the bylaws, he can't participate until the KHSAA says so. Then he has to go through acclimation as described by another poster. After school starts only one practice per day is legal, and in order for it to be considered a practice the "team" must practice (not just the player in question or a handful of players and some coaches going out and getting in a "practice"). Realistically, after approval it would be essentially 3 weeks, depending on the day he's cleared it could be the 3rd game after clearing. Or at least that's how Julian explained it to me a couple years ago.

KHSAA at its finest.

Agree 100%

Word on the campus is he may be eligible for the playoffs

I asked around at the game tonight. Nobody seemed to know what the status is.
