No clue if Russia is truly involved but if you made me bet their fingerprints are somewhere to be found.

So.......

As a country and not as a person hoping their candidate will get elected what are you more concerned with?

HRC getting love from the DNC to the point of helping her?

Or Russia/Putin/Kremlin being involved or manipulating in the name of Trump?

Let's make it a poll.

You think the Wikileaks people didn't or couldn't pull this off on their own?

No clue. Partly theoretical/partly a real possibility.

Maybe Putin/Russia (if involved) is being crazy like a fox, hoping the backlash with their possible involvement would push undecideds towards Clinton away from Trump.

With Clinton Russia has a known entity, they know how she thinks and how she would react...Trump is a complete unknown. Russia may be hoping that by appearing to favor Trump they push voters towards their actual preferred candidate, Mrs. Clinton.

Foreign countries are always going to try to insert themselves in our politics. To me, it's much more worse for our own political parties to be dirty and deceitful. It goes against the heart of democracy. I'm sick of the whole political scene in the U.S. There is no one representing "we the people" anymore.

This kind of hypothetical doesn't seem like a normal post from you Clyde. Normally you lead the charge on wanting to wait for all the info and not being swayed by talking points.

Would I be shocked that Russia was involved ? Nope. I'm pretty sure they hacked Hillary's personal server.

The bigger catch is trying to prove a connection to Trump , it's much more likely they would just want to create overall chaos in America rather than favoring anyone.

People act like the Clinton's don't have deep ties into Russia and as Secretary of state she wasn't very favorable to the Kremlin.

But I feel this topic is doing what the DNC has been trying to do since the leak happened , deflect. The DNC leak is incredibly bad and damaging and right now is the only one we know for sure is true

Trump is the preferred candidate in Russia. Please give me one good reason why Russia would want Hillary.

As to the poll, I see DNC manipulation on behalf of one candidate over another as the worse of the two choices. That is a statement about our country's values and the DNC. The other is about Russia's values and I'm not really concerned with it.

Look on the Clinton Foundation donor list how many have ties to Russia and the eastern bloc countries. Who was the Secretary of state who hit the reset button with Russia.

That's without putting much thought.

I am much more concerned about our internal parties working for or against a candidate, that's much more harmful long term to our process. RNC and DNC are both guilty.

Thank you.

I don't know if you saw my post in the other thread but I spent some time this weekend with a young PhD economics candidate who is Russian, traveling in the US this summer before going back to finish his education. He was very strong in his comments that in Russia they prefer Trump over Clinton

Another giant takeaway is why are Democrats so inept they can't protect their emails. Hillary to the DNC hackers are feasting.

Thank you.

Could be correct and I don't know his ties or connections to leadership. All I do know is there is a long documented relationship with the Clinton's and power players in Russia.

Thank you.

I don't think I'd put much stock in that.

Reason being, if someone such as Hellcats were in Russia, they'd talk about how amazing Hillary is, while Jesse James would talk about Trump as the next coming. Personal opinion is very subjective on those types of things IMO.

But what would those two say the Americans view of Putin is? That is the correct analogy and I bet those two would have similar comments on Putin and how Americans view Putin despite their very different political beliefs.

If you ask HC and JJ what Americans think about Russia in general I bet their comments would be similar

Lot of Russian citizens are pro-Putin. Lots are anti-Putin. I bet those two groups would have differing views on the American candidates.
