July 19, 201610 yr When you are always voting for the lesser of 2 evils, that will always be your choices. I refuse to do that. I don't like either candidate from the major parties. IMHO, neither is good for this country. I either vote for somebody else or do not participate in our republic. I choose somebody else. Correct. But somehow your vote, which was never going to either Clinton or Trump, going to Johnson is the same as voting for Clinton. Mind-boggling that some actually believe that.

Yep. I really think that a lot of people - from both sides of the aisle - form their opinions from sound bites promulgated by sources with which they align; rather than thinking for themselves.

I also get that some of you are gonna vote 3rd party from the beginning,which is your right. But in the end, those votes will only help Clinton win the election. But a Clinton presidency is the worst thing that could happen to America right now in my opinion thus my vote for Trump and looking at all the circumstances and polling for Johnson and the other third parties.

However, your opinion also is false. Check out the link mcpapa just shared. Polling data says the opposite. I'm not skipping the election. If forced between the two there is a much greater chance I would vote for Mrs Clinton over Mr Trump.

If enough people vote for the 3rd party candidate, if only as a revolt, just maybe one of the parties will realize something has to change. If the system continues as is, our choices in the future are going to get worse, not better.
