June 23, 201610 yr Thinking of taking a short bus or train trip for the first time to Cleveland or Pittsburgh in late fall. Has anyone taken a bus and or train to either of these cities? Any recommendations, advice, etc. Not big on making that much of a drive and plane tickets are really high for those 2 cities out of Cincinnati
June 23, 201610 yr Never been to either city but I think I'd rather travel to Pittsburgh. Never been on a train so I think I'd train to Pittsburgh.

When I lived in Philly, I often took the train to NY for work, and really enjoyed it. I think the train would be more comfortable and probably a more pleasant experience. The problem with long distance train travel is the route's are fairly convoluted and it takes a lot longer than it should. It's not as simple as taking a train straight from Cincy to Pittsburgh. There will likely be stops and possibly long layovers. I hate driving long distances too, but I'd just drive to either Pittsburgh or Cleveland from Cincy.
