It looks official. The Kenner kid (formerly on Christian County) is on the official roster on the BG Purple roster for this upcoming season. The 2018 Kenner will contribute right away as receiver.

 

I know i am a bit bias but offensively the Purples will be unstoppable this upcoming season. Teams will have to primarily worry about the Purples number 1 threat in Jamele Caruthers. He, himself, will be hard to stop. Add Deangelo Wilson in the slot, with new player (BG Basketball star) Kyron Jones, standing 6'6 on same side as Wilson and Kenner on opposite side who is probably number 1 receiver in the state. A halfway experienced O line with some huge sophomore O linemen ready to get dirty. Finally, add the most explosive freshman in the state in Devito Tisdale and you have a very dominant High School football team in state of Ky.

 

Can they be beat? Of course, anyone can be beat. In order for this to happen teams better bring their A+ game.

They will be a very tough team to beat this year no doubt. And can very well go undefeated this year easily. That year's bowling green offense creates headache for many of their opponents. Because now teams have to plan on stopping 4 good players in Deangelo , Kenner, Kyron, and Jamele. With the addition of Ziyon Kenner one of the top guys in the state and probably the best Receiver/Running Back in his class due to his explosiveness, Vision, Catching skills, Instincts, he reminds me sooo much of Tavon Austin with the way he plays. He ran a 4.5 on a laser. As a sophomore imagine how much faster he will be in the upcoming years in the bowling green offense.... The Purples struck gold with Kenner

I like your enthusiasm and well noted that BG will be stacked next year. Placing Kenner (who I know nothing about..just a question) as "Kenner on opposite side who is probably number 1 receiver in the state" is a stretch when he wasn't even in the top 15 or 20 statistically last year. BG being able to spread the ball around will carry them very far this coming year. I'm no linger part of Kentucky football, but I know one or two receivers in the NKY area that will push for top performing numbers again next year.

This will really hurt CCHS as now they will only have one player that teams will have to cover and other teams could double cover him and this will shut them down to zero?

I think he was meaning top in the state for the class of 2018... Not too many guys in his class did what he did as a sophomore playing multiple positions on the football field kids an athlete.... And will be an household name after this season.....

Lossing A player like Kenner hurts but the cup board is far from empty. County still has Catlett one of the best WR in the state should finish his career top 5 all time receiving yards in KY history, Kenneth Majors who played well at WR last year and just comitt to WKY yesterday, Big Play Ray James who was just behind Kenner in receiving yards and TD'S, 6'4 Corry Trice who is the hidden gem and is getting a lot of attention from D1 schools of late and 3 year starter Jaquan Long. Not to mention Traequan Taylor who averaged 7 yards a carry and had well over 100 receiving out of the backfield.. I think they will be ok..
