I'm trying to say the argument against me or others seems to always turn to a hate or racist as the reason for not going along with illegal immigration.

Ahh okay. I don't think being against illegal immigration makes anyone a racist. I think it depends on how things are said about it that determines whether someone has racist intent behind illegal immigration. I can separate the two and see the difference. I'd like to see us do a much better job of securing our borders as well.
