haha anytime. Personally, yes i agree that Hughes is one of the best in state. He has power from both sides of the plate as he has Hr's from both sides. He is a true switch hitter as he hits lefty vs righties and vice versa. Slick fielder as well. Bright future ahead. I also believe that GC has the best up the middle combination in the state. Combination of Shoupe, Hughes, Gammon, & Hunt is something every high school baseball fan needs to see. That being said I'm not taking anything away from the corner infield and outfield as they are impressive as well. Tomorrow should be a good game, I'm hoping the musketeers can continue the story though.

I agree with most everything that has been said about GC. Just a couple of things to add. GC fields the ball very well at all 9 positions and the bottom of the batting order has won several games for them this year as well. There is not an easy out in the lineup. Greene is hitting .341 in the 9 hole and has only K'd 5 times in over 100 ABs this year. Keeton may be the best clutch hitter ( other than Hughes) on the team from the 7 hole. But IMO probably the best trait about this team is that they play loose and never seem to get tight in any situation. They have fun on and off the field and really just enjoy playing baseball. With all that being said they will have to bring their A game against St X in order to move one step closer to their goal of winning a state title.
