June 6, 201610 yr Last time I mentioned this I just told the board what some people I had a conversation with were saying. I hear it all the time. We have some real issues. But its all gonna be all right cause all the lefties on BGP told me so. I know it is going to be all right because I work with 400 people and 60-70% of them are pro-Trump yet we all co-exist so we can get this money and go play with our toys. Everything is going to be fine like it always is.

June 6, 201610 yr This election cycle has changed my thinking in a lot of ways. I'll be interested in seeing if I will ever vote for a republican or democrat in future elections. I'm really souring on both parties and while I admittedly lean way more to the left than the right watching both of these parties in action these days is disappointing and not something I want to associate myself with anymore. And if you ever think you might want to re-associate with a party, just skim through the BGP Political Forum and you'll remember why you left.

Of course I am wrong on my above statements. I never once heard anyone say they did not like the direction of the country. Never once did I hear anyone say they would be for splitting the country. Approval ratings have nothing to do with surviving as it's merely a snapshot and can be affected by the news of the day. Harry Truman was low 20's in his last year but has come to be viewed much more favorably over time. Bush ranged from upper 20's to upper 80's during his terms. Obama has been mid 40's to upper 60's. Both did huge damage to the country but we survived and would survive a Trump administration if it somehow happened.
