I think it is too late for a filter. Too many of his supporters like that about him and he relishes in playing that part. The unfortunate part is that everytime he says something like this it stains his slogan of "Make America great again" more and more.

Damn shame. Not only do we choose it, we fall over ourselves defending it all the time. It's sad, but it's what we've devolved to as a voting society.

This election cycle has changed my thinking in a lot of ways. I'll be interested in seeing if I will ever vote for a republican or democrat in future elections. I'm really souring on both parties and while I admittedly lean way more to the left than the right watching both of these parties in action these days is disappointing and not something I want to associate myself with anymore.

Is Trump my first choice, No. But no way in Hades would I ever vote for Hillary. I would vote Bernie first and he is a freaking socialist. At least he believes what he says. Hillary is just a politician and first and foremost a liar. Why would she want the presidency? Think about it. She has been there. Bill let her work on many issues. She has been secretary of state. Has any other first ladies ever went into politics after their husband left office? Is it she just wants to be the "first" woman to become president? She clearly disregards the rules of the USA and has alot of ongoing issues. Whats the angle? Trump is not a politician and I dont think even the most hated anti Trump people can say he is. He at least has a vision to try to clean up some things that needs to be addressed. Does he go about it the way I would with his rhetoric? Definitely not, but he is no career politician and I sorta like his no nonsense, no politically correct straight forward approach. The left is pushing people to vote for someone like Trump and that includes me. I said it on here before, you lefties here are part of the reason I will and have pulled the lever for Trump and know many others who feel the same. Most of all I feel our country is headed down a road that will eventually end it if we dont get the ship righted to some extent.

He is at least going to try to clean up the immigration problems and the trade issues we have. Or he says he is and thats a start. For that he will get my vote. The issues we have are we are divided as a country. United we Stand, Divided we fall. We are not the exception to the rule.

At the end of the day there is nothing in the division that is detrimental to the country. A race war or civil war isn't going to happen. People are too self centered for any of that once the poop hits the fan.
