June 2, 201610 yr They don't want be found, yet some believe they will risk being found to cast a vote. In some states they just need a driver's license or state ID. Very easy to get now the standards have been lowered.
June 2, 201610 yr In some states they just need a driver's license or state ID. Very easy to get now the standards have been lowered. Being easy doesn't make it likely, especially since as you say, they don't exactly want to be found. Getting an id kind of brings them out of the shadows doesn't it?? So which is it...do they want to stay hidden, or do they want to occasionally come out of the shadows to influence elections 1 vote at a time??

If it's in their best interests why not vote for the guy who won't Deport me. I'm sure all those Mexican flags being waved at Trump rallies outside are all legal immigrants. What I mean is they're hard to count as they're not exactly filling out a census form and saying hey I'm an illegal immigrant. they're sneaking across the border in the middle of the night. So yeah makes it a little hard to track how many are coming and going.

Then by that assumption, single voter, misrepresentation fraud, should be happening on a widespread basis, and is just as likely to occur on either side. Or are you saying illegals are the only group that cares enough about something to try to swing an election? Something that would be really hard to do in a large scale, national election anyway.

I've already said I wouldn't doubt there are certain shenanigans on both sides. But conservatives aren't out in full force teaching illegals how to illegally vote and no they don't have to hide in the Sanctuary cities your liberal friends have made sure of that. There was another thread that said Democrats were out telling Hispanics either vote for us or get deported. Now if you're legally in the United States how could you be deported, so who do you think they were aiming that baseball at?

I guess I've missed the seminars my "liberal friends" (and I did pick up on the condescending tone in the phrasing of the my liberal friends statement in your post) have been hosting to pump up the illegal voting.

I don't know what to tell you those are the facts Jack. Actions speak louder than words. You can't say you're for the little guy if you're standing over him peeing on him. You're right I have a condescending tone I'm worried about the future that we're handing my children. And is it because they really care about the Hispanics, no they want to get as many in here as they can , give them amnesty, give him as much welfare as possible so they have more people to vote for them, that is sickening. What is really boils down to is they are trying to create another voter base that they can Pander to. Doesn't matter if it's good for America if it's good for you or good for me. Whatever it takes to get a vote.

Reagan did an amnesty program, and nothing was done about it in 12 years with either Bush at the top. You're right about worrying about the future. My worries though are more along the lines of people not being able to get along, and work together with hurling insults, and using labels to divide and put others down, creating further division amongst our society. The paranoia and fear that people who are different, or have different ideas and beliefs are evil and going to ruin our country is doing more harm to the country than the people they fear/dislike could ever do.

So if I truly believe that those policies are bad and some downright dangerous, I should be quiet because the government has shown such great leadership. I'll listen and take note when I hear something worth listening to. I don't think that the republicans have the answers either. It's better than just throwing in the towel. To be honest I don't know if you think government has the answers. I know they don't. The people need to start speaking instead of cowering down and complaining. How many wasted billions does it take for you to wake up?

I've only said the labels that get thrown around, the dismissiveness shown toward other opinions, or those that are different are bad, is what leads to such diviseness, and ill will. You don't need to insult people to get your opinion across. And we cannot let fear and paranoia, and improbably scenarios drive policy. You said yourself, that people need to stop complaining. Well, complaining is what 90% of these boards have become.

I'm willing to compromise, just not willing to throw the baby out with the bath water. Yeah I pick on the dems because I think they are the worst offenders, but I really don't see any hope in the two party system we have. They have become too powerful and to corrupt.
