State Tournament Programs

Featured Replies

There has been a lot of discussion about the KHSAA's decision to discontinue selling programs at the State Tournament. I do not mean to stir up that debate. Instead, I have a simple question: what was the last year programs were sold at the state tournament?

I believe it has been three or four years since they made that terrible decision.

I realize they've tried to cut expenses by trimming a few things but I've always thought doing away with the programs was a mistake. They need to bring them back. Besides being handy throughout the tournament, fans hang on to their programs for souvenirs.

Actually this site has books back through the 2013 season. So, apparently, the last time they sold programs AT the state tournament was 2012.

I see them at flea markets all the time bringing good money

That sounds about right.

I know I'd buy a few if they were available. I know I should have at least 10 @ moms house.

Neerfan, I have maybe half-a-dozen. When I have time to see what years, I will private message you.

They didnt do away with them, they are there for everyone to see.

Love cyber space programs combined with no wifi reception at Rupp. Brilliant! Simply brilliant!!!

And Mr. Tackett wonders why the state tourney has gone down hill.

I saw a few people download and print the online version before they got there. Someone from Mason County made some from me when I bought it from them, well worth it

Just now remembered to go through one of my boxes of sports "stuff"...and found that I have two programs from 1972, and one each from 1979, 1980, 1996, 2006 and 2007.
