With Jason Couch taking the Bullitt East job the Shelby County job is now available. Who will land this job?

SC also has a new AD in Charlotte Marshall. What a way to start a new job. If Shelby gets the right guy to keep the up and coming players interested and not moving to private schools, the program can rebuild. This new leader must work with the feeder schools to keep that program going. ? Is, will they go and bring in a fresh face or will they go with asst coach Cates.

Have already heard a few head guys in the 8th are interested along with another 8th region asst.

Locally this will a very followed hiring.

A name popped into my head when I first saw the job vacancy. I wonder if it's the same person you are thinking.

I've heard his name mentioned here and there as a quality candidate for jobs if he put his hat in the ring.

That's just it. He has it made where he is. IMO I think he would do ok and I know he would have a support staff,

Are you referring to the guy at Spencer? I heard he interviewed at Shelby the last go around. He's done a good job at Spencer. Not sure if he's from there or not.

I think there a few current and ex head coaches who might be interested in this opening.

Better job as terms of getting back to what he is used to, good administration, serious about athletics more than anyone can imagine, in a good way, money for sports programs. Just a better job and his last stop in my opinion.

BE is not a better job IMO.
