I believe this is the card:

Kalisto vs. Ryback (United States Championship) - This is supposed to be on the pre-show, much like it was at Wrestlemania. The U.S. Title situation has been beyond bleak ever since Cena took his leave of absence.

Dolph Ziggler vs. Baron Corbin - I can't imagine Corbin losing this one. Maybe a double count-out or double DQ, but I don't see Ziggler winning.

Dean Ambrose vs. Chris Jericho - Should be a pretty good match, but then again, I though Ambrose/Lesnar would be good at Mania & it was a yawner.

Enzo & Big Cass vs. The Vaudevillains (#1 Tag Team Title Contender Match) - Enzo & Cass are huge fan favorites, but I think The Vaudevillains win.

Sami Zayn vs Kevin Owens - Like Ambrose/Jericho, I expect this to be one of the more enjoyable matches on the card.

The Miz vs Cesaro (Intercontinental Championship) - I think Cesaro takes the title, unless Vince is insistent that a heel be a titleholder.

Charlotte vs Natalya (Women's Championship) - I don't watch the Women's matches so I don't care.

Roman Reigns vs AJ Styles (World Championship) - More interesting than the outcome of this match is what happens with Gallows & Anderson. You know they're going to play a significant role in this, but will it be to help Styles or hurt him?

For the first time in a long time I am not too excited about one of the WWE's special events.

I think they have too many guys injured, the women storylines are not cohesive, and I miss the Director of Operations, Kane.

I think they have too many guys injured

Seth Rollins

John Cena

Randy Orton

Bray Wyatt

Those are 4 huge guys that are hurt.

Throw in retirements of Sting & Daniel Bryan.

Then throw in a handful of lower card guys that are hurt: Neville, Tyson Kidd, & Luke Harper.

Definite shortage in talent right now, but I do like some of these NXT/outside guys they've brought in.

I agree on NXT. I love the two new tag teams fighting to take on New Day. Loved them in NXT, like them even more in the WWE.

100% agree.

I think the card is pretty solid and is about 10X better than Wrestlemania's.

As awful as Reigns is, at least the title match has a storyline and some intrigue beyond a McMahon/Authority making some sort of nonsensical stipulation. "We are going to PUNISH Roman Reigns by giving him a title shot!" What?

I thought the Women's Division had a head of steam coming out of WM and it's only been squandered. They are shooting themselves in the foot there. They finally have a solid core of talent there and are legitimized as wrestlers instead of quasi-strippers and the first angle is to ignore the entire division and bring Brett Hart out?

Four of the eight matches intrigue me: tag team match, Ambrose/Jericho, Zayn/Owens, & Reigns/Styles. I have a little bit of hope for Cesaro/Miz, but would be more hopeful if a better heel was the champ.

I'm definitely not counting that pre-show US match as an actual match. :lol2:

They diminished the US title by putting it around Kalisto's waist IMO. They diminished it even more by not having the title defended on the main show at Mania & now at Payback.

Yea, that's all been very strange. I don't think it's been on TV outside of tag matches, either. Plus, is there a less exciting opponent than Ryback? Twice? It seems like Apollo Crews needs something to do.

Plus Vince will maket his decision. I think Shane O Mac and Triple H get into a pretty good foght.

Rumors going around that Finn Balor could be making his main roster debut at Payback. The word is Gallows and Anderson interfere in the Styles/Reigns match, leading to Balor coming out.

Another rumor going around is that Vince will announce that both Shane and Stephanie (The Authority) will be running WWE.

Also, Eric Young made his NXT Debut last night.

The brand split is coming.

Probably for a while, at least.

I think the Balor to the main roster speculation really increased when Samoa Joe beat him the other night.

I'm not sure if he'll be at Payback, but I do feel like they are starting to lay the groundwork for him.

Lesnar is not on the card also.
