Saw the following picture floating around social media:

 

 

At first I thought it was just some kind of hoax, but then I got to thinking that maybe this was an elaborate marketing play by Dr. Pepper. They eventually followed it up with a tweet:

 

We're here to crush a rumor. The thought of Dr Pepper ending production & selling our recipe is unbelievable. #crushingrumorslike with a gif of a Dr. Pepper can getting crushed.

Best soda ever.....and my wife hates it...like starts gagging when she accidentally drinks it thinking its a coke

Dr. Pepper is great. Mt. Dew is a close second.

I'd be drinking a LOT less pop if that were true. It's Dr. Pepper or Coke for me.
