April 21, 201610 yr Reads to me like the Smith family draws an awful lot of water in Knox Co. If I'm reading it correctly, the superintendent walked into a mess of a situation and got nailed for doing things "the way they've always been done," and when he made efforts to change things, the good-ol' boys didn't like it none too much.
