In regards to fall break, more and more schools either are having their open week then or are trying like no other to get it that way. It's nothing more than a headache.

 

I know some schools like Bowling Green have their fall break/open week as the same and take the week completely off.....as in, go to the beach or Disney World. Someone can correct me, but I think Mayfield has done the same in the past? I know of some other programs not at their caliber who have started to do the same thing.

 

On the flip side of those who have a game Fall Break, I've also heard of giving the Freshmen-JV (Non Varsity guys) the option of taking the week off (obviously not scheduling any Fr/JV games for that week).

 

To add to that I think BG schedules their game the week before Fall Break to be played on a Thursday night.

 

They always seem to be on top of everything down in BG.
