Does that mean we may get some of the good stuff up here?

I think so but the tornado threat should be greatly reduced by the time they reach your area.

What time should it start rolling in NKY?

Rolling through Louisville area now with a severe thunderstorm warning. Probably this first line maybe in NKY around 5-6. Don't forget the main severe threat won't be until later this evening.

That was one of my concerns that the sun will come out and further destabilize the atmosphere.

It was not sunny that long to be honest. Maybe and hour to an hour and one half.

It won't take much sun because of the energy in the atmosphere already.

Everyone shouldn't let your guard down. The main threat will be later this evening.

70 here in Northeastern Ky. Nothing ever happens in day time, if we get anything it will most certainly be in the middle of the night as I head into work.:irked:

Tornado watch maybe issued soon for WKY. The second line of storms I mentioned is now starting to form.

Sun out, very warm. Western Kentucky seems to be getting the storms(rain) this year, as they did with winter weather this past year as well. I think this area will have severe drought this year the way things have played out since practically having no winter

Cleveland trip a success. Only time we saw any rain was as soon as we got back to Cincinnati...
