Some of Your Favorite Unusual Musical Collaborations (Odd Couples)

Featured Replies

I'm looking for musical pairings that may seem a bit odd at first but the result was something that you really dug. Maybe it's a hidden gem from the odd couple or just something that really struck your fancy .

As an example of what I'm talking about, here's a simply lovely tune from two legends, Elton John and the late Tammy Wynette. Elton was a huge fan of Wynette.

This is far from the era of music that you mentioned..But I really liked Jay Z and Linkin Park's collab album in circa 2002. They were absolutely two big names in two very distinct genres of music.

I realize I'm probably in the minority.

I don't know if I'd call it a "favorite" per se, but it certainly is unusual.

Tony Bennett and Lady Gaga

Maybe shoulda posted this one on St. Paddy's Day. Worth seven and a half minutes out of my busy schedule.

The 2nd half of this video is a parody of the original.
