March 30, 201610 yr Gun-free zones don't prohibit authorized security personnel from possessing firearms. The law only prohibits unauthorized people from carrying firearms on premises. The GOP convention indeed will take place in a gun-free zone, which no doubt upsets many gun-culture cowboys.

If we did this in schools would you still consider the schools a gun free zone? If so then we're talking semantics.
