Longstanding coach Todd Gilley retired following this past season with the Ladycats, leaving the position open.

Who replaces Todd Gilley the long time coach of Henry County who is retiring this year?

Where was he previously?

Assistant at Henry for maybe last 8-10 years

Anyone have a link on the hire?

I'm hearing Jim Hook (Metcalfe assistant?) will be the new coach.

That is the word that I got as well from a very reliable source

Apparently he met the players yesterday according to the school Twitter, so that job is no longer open.

Not so done after all.

Very observant PP1 maybe you are truly the pink panther. New AD Jon Kasten wanted to start with a fresh face, and hopefully breathe some life into the program. I really thought with Coach Blanton working his butt of the last 10 years would have meant more than it did. Understand the thinking behind it. Good luck to the new coach. Henry has some young talent, and compete for that district for once.
