Libertarian Gary Johnson in double digits in race against Hillary Clinton, Donald Trump: poll - Washington Times

While I disagree with him on some things he checks off the most boxes for me. Would love to see him make some serious noise this election.

He REALLY needs to hit that 15% mark to be in the debates.

Isn't it odd that not one news network even mentions this guy?

 

Maybe they have and I just missed it.

For those that follow Gary Johnson, which party will he pull most of his support from...The GOP or the Dems?

I think for a third party candidate to ever have a real shot they have to be out beating the drum a year or so before the general election. Need to be out there setting themselves apart from the establishment candidates from both parties and hitting them hard while they fight for their nominations.

 

A late entry on a national level, whether it be Johnson, Bloomberg or a radical Trump independent run only hands the election to one of the establishment candidates without them having to do too much to win the election.

He was a Republican prior so he'd probably pull from GOP the most. Most Liberals have strayed so far from what the word originally meant they despise libertarians as well.

 

I've been educating people on Gary around me as well. This is very good news. Pull the voters who don't like Trump and Hillary could be very interesting.

 

I like Gary Johnson , but I've said from the start he is kind of an awkward public speaker sometimes. So I hope that's been polished. I'm getting closer and closer to just putting full support behind him and I never though I wouldn't vote GOP in presidential. But if his numbers rise and has a legit shot I'm in.

This is an odd election. If Trump wins and indictments come out for Hillary, anything can happen.

Also if Libertarian party was smart Gary would be spending most his time right now in minority communities where people don't really trust Hillary.

 

Then the huge game changer will be if the Koch brother who is a libertarian puts money behind Johnson.

I think people in this election will seriously look at and consider Gary Johnson. The key question is can he raise enough money to become viable. With social media and PAC's, it is possible. Did anyone think Bernie would be able to raise the money he has?
