March 10, 201610 yr Even more of a reason to vote Trump. These people like the Bush family, McConnell, etc, are meeting to try to stop Trump from getting the nomination. I for one see this as a reason to vote for Trump. They are afraid they may lose a cash cow and be exposed as corrupt. I now officially hate each and everyone of these people trying to make my decision and others for them. They all need purged from America. March 10, 201610 yr Author I find it very disturbing that political forces are conspiring to subvert the will of the people for the benefit of the 1%. I agree. They are determined for reasons to stop him. I guess if they fear him, we should take notice and go against their wishes since they have led us down so many wrong roads.
March 10, 201610 yr So what should they do if he doesn't get the 1237 delegates needed to secure the nomination?
March 10, 201610 yr I find it very disturbing that political forces are conspiring to subvert the will of the people for the benefit of the 1%. I find it a little disturbing people are just now realizing this in 2016.
March 10, 201610 yr So what should they do if he doesn't get the 1237 delegates needed to secure the nomination? Not a Trump supporter, but I'm starting to believe that he's the only chance that the GOP has at Presidency in November. If he doesn't get the delegates and they give the nomination to anyone else, I just don't see Trump's supporters voting for that person, since they feel like Trump was screwed.

March 10, 201610 yr The MAJORITY of republican registered voters have shown that they want someone other than Trump as the nominee. So that kind of throws a monkey wrench into all this angst.

March 10, 201610 yr Author That's kind of my point. The majority of Republican voters don't want Trump. I find that hard to believe. I know many Republicans who are for Trump. I mean h rise winning a lot of states with a lot of votes. It's not Dems voting for him so someone has to be.
March 10, 201610 yr There are rules in place. If they start changing the rules DURING this let me know.
March 10, 201610 yr So how should they determine the nominee if no one has the 1237 required? If Trump doesn't have the required 1237, they should give it to who they believe best represents the party and has the best change of defeating Hillary in November. And when they choose anyone other than Trump, it all but makes sure Hillary wins because I just don't see the majoirty of Trump's supporters supporting Cruz. Maybe they would Kasich.
