March 9, 201610 yr Two questions 1. Why is it in DC? 2. Why was Derrick Coleman introduced as an "ACC legend?" 1) Now that the balance of power has shifted out of the Carolinas and is more distributed around a large swath of the country, the members voted to move it for the next few seasons. Next year it shifts to the Barclay's Center in Brooklyn for two years, then to Charlotte in 2019 before heading back to Greensboro in 2020. Pitino and Boeheim didn't want to spend what little time they had left eating at that Denny's in Greensboro I guess. Much good did it do them... 2) All the schools in the league got "ACC Legends" named this year. Louisville had both Darrell Griffith and Angel McCoughtrey named as ACC Legends earlier this year. I guess they felt the need to include everyone, whether they were in the league at the time or not. Then again, no one from South Carolina or Maryland was named as such...
