If this is a precurser to the rest of the event then it will be the worst event ever.

 

A match that they have boasted for weeks for a title no one saw, a battle royal you have named after a legend that you had to bring in a fraud that cant even play in the nfl, yet can get in a wwe ring, and then a ho hum IC match.

Am I to understand that the Neville match was not part of the main event? If so I just don't understand that. Not many good matches with actual wrestlers on this card and they downplay this one?

Neville Aries match wasnt even on the preshow, wow.

 

I watched it live, I am not sure if it was on the preshow to the preshow but it was on.

Dean Ambrose/Baron Corbin moved to the pre-show.

 

I thought wow, Ambrose is only worthy of preshow face time.

I was really surprised they put that match on the pre-show. It wasn't a terrific match, but I thought it was a lot better than the Smackdown women's match.

Best match was before it started Ultimate Warrior and Stone Cold in the audience wrestling I will post the video.

That was absolutely hilarious. The guy dressed like Stone Cold had "fought" a few others prior to that one. What was even funnier, but wasn't captured on the video, was the crowd playing along with chants like "This is awesome." It happened really close to where we were sitting and people were eating it up.

That was really fun being in attendance last night. I haven't watched it on the network yet, but the crowd was really into it. Place was undoubtedly loudest when the Hardy Boyz returned. Enzo & Cass got a huge response as well.

 

I thought it was a solid card, but the bigger-billed matches were letdowns to an extent. Wyatt/Orton was disappointing & Bray is my favorite wrestler. Goldberg/Lesnar was okay and there were a couple of spots that were entertaining. Outcome of Reigns/Undertaker really deflated the crowd. Not sure if that came across on the telecast, but people were upset. Still, Taker was given quite a show of respect by the crowd as he left.

 

Triple H/Rollins was the match of the night IMO. AJ/Shane was very well-done too. The Raw tag title match was excellent, with the Hardys playing a huge role in that. Raw women's match was also really good as was KO/Jericho.

 

I went to Wrestlemania 8 when I was a kid and it was fun. This one was a lot better though. I have my gripes with WWE just like anyone else, but they sure do know how to put on a show. The stage setup was really, really cool.

I watched it with another Wrestling Fan at the White Ivory Tower. Overall I/we agree with you, it was very solid and entertaining but some of the actual matches were only above average.

 

I am looking forward to Raw and Smackdown now because they can be their own Franchises and not have to point towards a bigger event until SummerSlam.
