Thunder Owner Commits Suicide?

Featured Replies

Sounds like it was intentional. Feel bad for his wife & 3 kids.

He acted like he was anxious to fight the charges before this.

Was he even looking at real jail time?

From what I have gathered some time in jail was unavoidable.

I wondered if he committed suicide. It's really fishy considering the events of this week.

I also wondered if he was silenced to keep from talking about who he was in cahoots with. This is a lot of money at stake involving a lot of powerful people. No way he was acting alone and we all know that saying the right thing to the Feds can grant you a Get out of Jail free card.

Damn. What a way to go! I could think of a lot less painful ways to choose to die.

McClendon owned 20% of the Thunder.

I'm interested in seeing who gets that 20% now.

I'd assume his estate would hold onto that if they were smart.

Heard this morning he was looking at 10 years.

If you are going to commit suicide I'm guessing you want to make sure you complete the deed. My luck I'd live through the crash and be confined to a wheelchair while visiting the Federal Pen.
