Part of Edgewood is Scotts district, plus open enrollment or he could have moved. Scott should have a good Freshman team.

 

Not to jump off topic, but Kenton County changed the districts for next year. Edgewood is now TF and Dixie.

Needs a year minumum to play 6a ball. He's a really good Rb. Maybe aspires to being great, but he needs to get his carries and develop. Not get two carries a game on varsity and not be able to play the lower levels and get quality reps. I used to be a fan of move'm up. Experience has taught me otherwise.

I totally agree, if they can move up and get quality playing time, I am all for it. But when they are always playing up and not getting the quality of carries, snaps, catches, or whatever position they are in, it is a waste of time.

Don't worry about it. My son has thick skin and can handle it. The 4th grader is 11-0 on football, beat the Red Devils twice and won a super bowl with his team.

I have been coaching a long time and that kid has better footwork than just about anybody I have coached. NkyDoesItBest, you sound like a teenager that is very jealous of somebody that has more talent than you. You are either a teenager or an adult that can't spell very well. I hope these rumors are false and Hammack is in a CC uniform next year. UK#1fan liked the last comment of saying he has no footwork and players will catch up to him? I thought you were SK's biggest fan? If the rumor of Hammack going to SK has any truth to it at all, why would you like something that puts down The Best Back in NKY PERIOD! I played with a RB Bryan Shepard, everyone said the same thing about him,(everyone will catch up with his speed) Never Happened! There was no RB like Hammack in our league, not even close IMO.

This needs its own thread, I've seen Hammock play and he is fast and a very good back. But I differ, Ryle has a RB who is arguably in the top two or three in the state. This with a good defense is why Ryle win run the table this year.

I can say this Hammock has some wheels, when he gets a lane he's gone. Both of them are still a little raw and they both have tremendous upside. It's going to be fun and interesting to watch them through the years see how they develop and where they end up.
