A mea culpa from me. I should have called out SF on this thread immediately. I didn't. SF and I agree on a lot of things, but not on this thread or the other one with the picture of rubio/liberace. I get the whole "hypocrisy" angle, of a republican politician pushing an anti-gay agenda while being in the closet. But I still disagree with this thread and the tone. I am not proud of myself for delaying in reacting, but there it is. Thanks to Habib for his post in the other thread that spurred me on to speak, albeit belatedly.

 

Point taken. Especially being so strongly supportive of gay rights and having a gay sister, I probably shouldn't have strayed into territory that belongs to Mt Ref, but I have a hard time resisting jabs at establishment GOP guys like Roboto. My mother (the Obama hater) was actually the first to tell me about Marco's foam party past(apparently it is splattered all over at least one of her weekly four gospels- The Enquirer, Globe, Star, the Weekly World News). As I said, I couldn't care less if Marco is gay. In fact, I would love to have an openly gay President. Marco, though, just irks me.

I'm not blaming you for Marco's proclivities to enjoy foam parties. And I'm not saying that you aren't right about his marriage. You may very well be. Mama SF says if the Enquirer prints it, there's at least some truth to it. To be fair, the arrest in the park and foam party accounts have appeared in many, many publications. That doesn't disqualify him as far as I'm concerned but his inability to utter a sentence that hasn't been pre-programmed into his head by his handlers makes me not like him. I think he's just a tool of the establishment. I don't back away from my criticism of Little Marco.
