Beechwood is just an average team.

They can change a lot of perception with a Disrrict win vs HC.

Other than that, it's an average season.

I just don't see enough quality wins vs bad losses.

You should steal Birdbath's avatar. Lol

I agree though, this is a bad loss. Their best chance of getting g to the Region though is playing HC.

I don't think people give us enough credit. We held Holy Cross to their lowest point total of the year and their only 9th region regular season loss. This may have been a "bad" loss and we may not make the Region, but we are better than an "average" team.

I wouldn't consider losing to Grant County a bad loss. Grant does have a very good record, but plays a pretty tough schedule. They have size, and shoot the ball well. Not to mention they are very physical. They can play with many good teams.

While I wasn't there, I'm told Beechwood's best defense is their offense. They pass the ball around for a solid minute or more each possession. I think it's a little misleading to credit their defense when their offense milks the clock each game. I'm not knocking their style, just misleading.

I would agree with The Observer about Beechwood's best defense is their offense. In games that I have seen, they don't have really solid defense. Teams can get to the rim rather easily and if Toebbe, the tall one, is out of the game, there isn't much help on the backside.

Also agree with 8675309 that it isn't as bad of a loss as it may look on paper. Grant has played a tough schedule and have some good pieces to cause teams trouble.
