HammerTime Posted February 15, 2016 Posted February 15, 2016 A script on this page may be busy, or it may have stopped responding. You can stop the script now, open the script in the debugger, or let the script continue. Script: https://secure-ds.serving-sys.…urstingScript/SZMKFLVPAIDBR.js:17 This keeps happening every 4th or 5th page I open on BGP, my computer nearly shuts down. Anyone know how to resolve this? Seems like it might be a problem on my end.
Wireman Posted February 15, 2016 Posted February 15, 2016 You on a mobile device or a computer? Which version of internet explorer you using?
HammerTime Posted February 15, 2016 Author Posted February 15, 2016 You on a mobile device or a computer? Which version of internet explorer you using? Computer, Mozillas latest version. (44.0.2)
Wireman Posted February 15, 2016 Posted February 15, 2016 I'm not real familiar with Mozilla but I haven't had any issues on IE 10
True blue (and gold) Posted February 15, 2016 Posted February 15, 2016 Change to a browser like Chrome or Firefox and see if you get the same thing.
HammerTime Posted February 15, 2016 Author Posted February 15, 2016 Mozilla is Firefox. I'm not switching to Chrome because I have a million passwords and bookmarks saved in FF.
HammerTime Posted February 15, 2016 Author Posted February 15, 2016 It has happened on a few other sites now since this post. :irked:
OlDog75 Posted February 15, 2016 Posted February 15, 2016 Computer, Mozillas latest version. (44.0.2) I have been having a TON of this on Firefox just the last year. It has gotten extremely slow, never used to be this way in the past. And if you have a Zoomtown or Fuse account, Firefox will come to a darn near halt, especially if you are trying to watch a video associated with a news story. I've tried all Firefox's suggestions to rectify the issue but to no avail. I emailed Firefox about a week ago and have heard nothing back.
Pioneer.Pride Posted February 15, 2016 Posted February 15, 2016 Might have something to do with reduced support for Adobe Flash and related applications. Since MS announced they are going out of the browser business, other vendors are reducing and eventually eliminating support for Adobe Flash.
True blue (and gold) Posted February 15, 2016 Posted February 15, 2016 Mozilla is Firefox. I'm not switching to Chrome because I have a million passwords and bookmarks saved in FF. Oops. You are correct. However, since simply opening up another browser doesn't affect your stored passwords in another, it's worth a shot to see if that's your problem.
swamprat Posted February 15, 2016 Posted February 15, 2016 I haven't seen this particular fail, but I've seen others with firefox after an update. You may have to reset firefox. I don't mean opening and closing the browser. I mean doing a firefox restart or reset procedure. You can find out how in the firefox help. I believe pioneer is right and it is related to Flash, but I never trust a javascript with an obscure name like that. For grins I'd run a scan with Malwarebytes in Safe Mode. I'd also download Cleanup from stevegould.org and use it to clean out your temporary files.

I'm not that computer savvy to try other things, too afraid I'd really get myself and the laptop in a hell of a mess.
