SnottieDrippen Posted February 15, 2016 Posted February 15, 2016 It's quite a while out, but lets chat. Ingram and Simmons are probably the two players with the most potential, which with their frames all but guarantees they go 1,2 in some order, but who follows? Is there any way Ulis isn't a top 3-5 pick?
HammerTime Posted February 15, 2016 Posted February 15, 2016 Murray might be the only first rounder KY has. Ulis has a chance in the back end of the 1st round which would be a great sport for him because he might end up on a good team.
SnottieDrippen Posted February 15, 2016 Author Posted February 15, 2016 Zero chance Ullis is that high. Because he's short?
LIPTON BASH Posted February 15, 2016 Posted February 15, 2016 Because he's short? That's a huge part of it. My major draft sites still have him as a 2nd rounder.
HammerTime Posted February 15, 2016 Posted February 15, 2016 Because he's short? If he was 6'5 he would be the #1 pick.

So these major draft sites think every team will pass on a franchise point guard, and some teams twice, because he's not 6ft? I guess I don't see what they don't see in his game. Maybe I'm blinded by my bias.

But the risk vs reward on drafting a pg his size in the top 5. The gm would be committing career suicide.

Clyde Posted February 15, 2016 Posted February 15, 2016 I'm still not convinced Skal isn't entering the draft.
sweet16 Posted February 15, 2016 Posted February 15, 2016 I love Ullis and his game but he will not be a lottery pick. I think he will have a chance to be a good pro as well but teams are not drafting a PG his size that early.

My final thought on this is if Briscoe is drafted ahead of him, my days as an NBA fan will be over the day Ulis wins ROY. Moving on, who are the 35-40 guys I should be watching that I'm apparently not?
SnottieDrippen Posted February 15, 2016 Author Posted February 15, 2016 I'm still not convinced Skal isn't entering the draft. He should. I think he'll make a nice pro if a coach will keep him away from the paint.

Like I said, I'm biased, but the kid has big boy skills and a high IQ. I've already bought his jersey in my mind.
Randy Parker Posted February 15, 2016 Posted February 15, 2016 I'm still not convinced Skal isn't entering the draft. I'm with you. Is he a 1st round pick if he comes out?
