Kyle Rode finished with 25 points, 14 rebounds, 9 assists and 3 steals.

LCA shot 50% from the floor. 25-50.

 

They cooled led off from 3 and finished 8-22 from 3.

Colton Elkins had 19 points, 7 rebounds and 2 blocks.

 

Bryce Slone had 13 points and 5 rebounds. He was 3-6 from deep.

 

Dario Delcastillo finished with 9 points off of the bench.

That first quarter by LCA was one of the best shooting displays I've seen.

Agreed. And it was all of them hitting threes. Very impressive. Created a hole too deep for Boyle to dig out of.

Boyle just plays so flat! You have to have a little fire in you when its game time. Maybe it's just me.....

I'd love to see them play with some more fire and emotion. I think the crowds along with student sections have something to do with the emotion they show for each game. When they play Danville the atmosphere will be electric. These next two games will be ho-hum games and won't be able to match the atmosphere come tournament time. LCA starting the game hitting 3s the way they did took the wind out of the sails early and created a deficit that we weren't offensively capable of overcoming. Boyle County won the third and fourth quarter but lost the first and second quarters so badly it didn't matter.

Is that a given PP? Assuming you are talking about the district, Boyle has beaten Danville twice, but one win was by four and the other by ten. Danville has been struggling lately as well, but (and I'm a little biased obviously) I wouldn't easily count out the Ads for an upset. After all, the Ads were four seconds away from sending a much better Rebels team packing last year in the 45th first round.

I know. I'm not being insulting or overly confident when I say that. Nothing is a given. One thing I'll never do is pick against the Rebels. I don't care how bad they are playing or how bad they look. It's not in my blood to pick against them. My support will always be unwavering regardless of the circumstances. I am very biased when it comes to the Rebels and not ashamed to admit that.
