February 8, 201610 yr I've had brakes worked on at many different places. I'm kind of partial to Smith Brake and Muffler in Covington for "bang for the buck" and a quality job.

February 9, 201610 yr I have had 2 Toyotas and had all work done at Kerry Toyota on Pike Street. Verry happy with their work and didn't have to worry about lower quality aftermarket parts. I say that because we took our 4Runner to a "chain" brake shop once and after 3 return trips because the rotors kept pulsating we took it to Toyota and no problem - I really feel the issue were cheap aftermarket rotors were initially used. We take our Nissan to Smith Muffler (mentioned early). They have 30 bays so they can you in and out pretty quick. Never had a problem at either.
February 11, 201610 yr Author Ended up at Smiths. They work quick. Thanks for the feedback, I think the Mazda 3 will need brakes soon.
