Majority of Americans Identify as "Pro-Choice" Instead of "Pro-Life"

You would go to prison for 5-10 years for harming defenseless puppies and mutilating them. A human not so much. That's the thinking I just can't get my head around. I mean we are talking about a human life! How is killing us with a vacuum cleaner legal but we protect animals with a fervor.

Too often it is the same group overlooking one, while going crazy in the other.

For now, Liberals can parse words and rationalize infanticide any way they choose. Ultimately, taking the life of a child will be judged by a higher authority. It is my hope that the same authority will also judge those who enable this horror.

Prove it. How do you know?

Because Liberalism is a form of mental illness.

That's a nutty statement. Look inward for signs of that illness.

I've stated my belief which is guided by my faith. If you can argue against it, have at it. I'd like to see your logic and see if it is persuasive enough to get me to doubt my faith.

Why would I want you to doubt your faith if it somehow makes you feel good about this life and your prospects for some future life? If it makes you feel good it serves a purpose for you. Just saying, just because you want to believe it and it makes you feel good doesn't make it true. There is no rational basis or scientific evidence that points to a God man. Are you saying that you know beyond a shadow of a doubt that there is a God man hanging out in the sky somewhere? Or you choose to have faith that he exists ?

Oh, come on now. You must have some logical explanation for why you doubt that there is a God. Please enlighten me. You can do it on the premise that you wish for me to retain my faith even if you dash any hope that that faith is based in reality. Really, I promise to keep feeling good about my current life and my prospects for a future life even if you can logically and persuasively disprove the existence of God.

I doubt because I have yet to see one scintilla of scientific evidence of the existence of God man. And you haven't either. You don't require evidence. I do.

Define God. For example, does God intervene in human affairs on earth? Does he work miracles? Is he just? Does he actively arrange things so his presence can't be proven? Is the Bible his word? If one defines God, one is well on the way to having him disproven.

Because Liberalism is a form of mental illness.

I always love these sweeping generalities, especially when they are so demeaning.

It is also amusing to see who "likes" certain posts in the Politics and CI forums. Most of us can predict the likes before they're made. On both sides of the aisle. :thumb:

Like. :)

So tell me what you do believe. Big bang?

I will pose the same question to you. What do you believe in? I am truly curious.

And a follow up. What do you require as proof of the existence of God? Is scientific evidence the only thing you believe in?

Pretty bad dodge there. You challenged SF to disprove God. I think it can be done, but you have to define the parameters of God. God not the same thing to all people. If you really want to do this, tell me what you believe God is. The questions I asked are above. We can go from there. If you don't want to answer them, that's cool too.

What do I believe in? Lots of things. God is not one of them though.
