Paris 61 Montgomery County 60 OT

Did he go length of the floor or what?

Paris had to go the length of the court with four seconds left. Ryan Davis inbound the ball to Jekobi Wells and he quickly pushed it up the court and hit a wide open Ashford under the basket for the layup at 0.3 on the clock!

Threw the ball in to Wells, he dribbled the length of the floor, defense committed, he dished it to Ashford for the layup

We were pulling in the driveway and I saw that Fuller had hit both FT's with 4 seconds left. Sounds like a crazy finish!

Paris played great defense for the first 3 quarters and seems to have found their correct line-up.

Garrard got a put back with about a minute to go in regulation that tied the game. Fuller missed a 16 foot jumper with about 5 seconds left and Garrard was off the mark from beyond half court as time expired.

A Garrard bucket from 8 feet gave Paris the lead with 10 seconds left.

Fuller was fouled and hit a pair of free throws to reclaim the lead with 4 seconds left, which set up Ashford's wide open layup at the buzzer.

The Indians didn't shoot it particularly well, but while in the first game they missed several good looks, this game the Paris D made it very tough to get good looks.

Jones played, and missed a couple shots that he usually makes, but he didn't get enough touches. He picked up 2 fouls in the first quarter, and never really got into the flow of the game.

Ashford likely wouldn't have even been in the game at the end except for Clark fouling out with a minute left in OT.

Overall a really good game. I wouldn't be surprised if these two teams play again twice more, or if this was their last meeting this season.

Jekobi Wells for most part of game guarded Jones...these two kids have played together in the Summer and are friends. I believe Wells played exceptional defense tonite. Then Garrard was engaged on the defensive end. We won because they held Jones scoreless.

Jones actually had 2 points early in the first, but yes, keeping Jones from being a factor was a big part of the win.

Sorry I missed that bucket..was probably at concession stand. Key to beating MOCO is goin at Jones and keeping him in the bench and denying him the ball. IMO he doesn't touch the ball Enuff...too many perimeter shots

Just saw part of a video of the final play. Awful defense by Moco on the play. Ash ford runs right down the middle of the floor and no one picked him up. Perfect pass made for his layup.
